The Write Place welcomes acclaimed poet Michael McGriff to read and discuss his work

Michael McGriff’s poems, essays and translations explore the intersection of surrealism with place, working-class life, and poverty in rural America. Born and raised in Coos Bay, he studied at the University of Oregon, The Michener Center for Writers, and Stanford University. He is the author of several books and the director of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Idaho.
