ASWOU Senate Meeting: Student Organization & Campus Support Committee

The ASWOU Legislative Branch goal to strengthen students’ sense of belonging and community by fostering meaningful engagement opportunities across campus will rest in the Student Organization & Campus Support Committee. The committee will initiate and collaborate with departments and Student Organizations on fostering a supportive and “good vibes environment” for the student body. The committee will be in constant communication with the director of Student Organizations. The ASWOU Legislative Branch aims to strengthen students’ sense of belonging and community by fostering meaningful engagement opportunities across campus. These initiatives will focus on improving communication, enhancing transparency, and creating a more positive, welcoming environment through visible action. Such as small improvements, interactive events, engagement with clubs, and opportunities for students to connect and share feedback. By doing so, the Legislative Branch seeks to cultivate an inclusive and supportive campus culture that reflects the voices and needs of all students.
