The Western Oregon University (WOU) Safe Zone program is an initiative designed to foster an inclusive, supportive, and respectful campus culture, specifically focusing on the lives and experiences of LGBTQ2SIA+ individuals. It provides ongoing training to help community members become allies, reducing homophobia and creating safe, welcoming spaces across campus.
